       During the year Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsave 2022-2023, Academy undertook the                   following activities:-

I     Programmes :

The Academy organized the following literary and cultural programmes:-

I   Hakeem Abdul Hameed Memorial Lecture on 14^th September 2022, Ghalib Academy had organized a Lecture on the topic of “Hakeem Abdul Hameed ki Taaleemi Khidmaat”on the occasion. Prof. Ibn-e-Kanwal had presented their paper on the respective subject.

II   On the occasion of 200 years of Urdu Journalism & 100 birth anniversary of Late Grubachan Das Chandan, Ghalib Academy had  been organized a Nationalo Seminar on 08^th October 2022,,In this seminar well known personalities and scholars like Dr. G.R.Kanwal, Mr. Shakeel Hasan Shamsi,Prof. Akhtarul Wasey,Mr. Suhail Anjum,Mr. Abdul Majid Nizami, Mr. Asad Raz,Mr. Zafar Anwer,Mr.Masoom Moradabadi,Dr. Waseem Rashid,Dr,Shadab Tabassum, Mr. Laeeq Rizvi,Mr. Farooq Argli,Dr.Yameen Ansari, Mr. Haqqani Al Qasmi,Prof. Shareef Hussain QasemiMs,Farhat Rivi etc.were participated and presented their papers and views..

III On the occasion of 225^th  birth anniversary of Mirza Ghalib on 27^th December 2022, Ghalib Academy had organized two Lecture (1)”Ghalib in Translation”, by Prof. Kuldeep Salil (2)“Ghalib Sawaneh Aur Khidmaat” by Prof. Ahmad Mahfooz. Ghazal singer Mrs. Rashmi Agrwal recited Mirza Ghalib`s ghazals with music.on the occasion.

IV   On the occasion of 150 death anniversary of Mirza Ghalib, on 15^th February 2020, Ghalib Academy  had organised a poetry recitation competition  among the 9,10,11,12 class students of Delhi schools .

V   On the occasion of 154^th death anniversary of Mirza Ghalib, on 15^th February 2022, Ghalib Academy had organised a poetry recitation competition among the 9,10,11,12 class students of Delhi schools.I, II, III position holder had been awarded with cash prize.

    Four Days Cultural Programms & Seminar

• Tarahi Mushaira:

On the occasion of 54^th foundation day of Ghalib Academy and 154^th death anniversary of Mirza Ghalib, a Tarahi Mushaira was organized on 22^nd February 2023.Ywenty five poets & poetes have been participated.Nushaira was presided by Dr. G.R. Kanwal and compared by Mr.Mueen Shadab. Waqar Manvi, Tabish Mehdi, Zafar Moradabadi, Farooq Argali, Iffat Zarrin, Naseem Begum Naseem, Mamta Kiran,  ,Mateen Amrohvi etc. presented their poetry.

• Drametic Rendering of Letters of Ghalib

On the occasion of 54^th foundation day of Ghalib Academy organized a Drametic Rendering of Letters of Ghalib, on 23^rd February, 2023. By  Anis Azmi with Reshma Farooqi

• Mehfil-e-Kalam-e-Ghalib:

On the occasion of 54^th foundation day of Ghalib Academy organized a Mehfil-e-Kalama-e-Ghalib on 24^th February, 2023. Renowned ghazal singer from Mumbai Ustad Ghulam Abbas recited the Ghazals of Mirza Ghalib with music.

• Seminar:

On the occasion of 54^th foundation day of Ghalib Academy and 154^th death anniversary of Mirza Ghalib, Ghalib Academy organized a National Seminar on the topic of “75 Saal mein Ghalib Tanqeed” on 25^th  February 2023, In this seminar well known personalities and scholars like Dr. G.R.Kanwal,Mr. Shamim Tariq (Mumbai), Prof.Sharif Hussain Qasemi,Prof.Qazi Jamal Hussain (Aligarh), Prof. Qazi Afzal Hussain(Aligarh),Prof.WahajuddinAlvi,Prof.Khalid Alvi, Dr. Nafees Bano(Varanasi),  Dr.Geetanjli Kala  were participated and presented their papers and views..
